Project Engineer

Responsible for managing all aspects of daily site activities, with a primary focus on labor control and supervision.
Act as the representative of the company in project meetings, liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors, and other project team members.
Ensure projects are executed within the defined scope, schedule, and budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards.
Address unforeseen technical issues and provide guidance and advice to workers and subcontractors on site.
Collaborate with architects and subcontractors as part of the site management team.
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety measures for both human and material resources on site.
Verify the accuracy of computations in plans, drawings, and quantities.
Efficiently plan and organize site facilities to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
Verify invoices from subcontractors based on the work performed on site.
Maintain communication with regulatory authorities from the initial stage of the project until the issuance of occupancy certificates.

Hold a diploma in Civil Engineering or higher.
Possess 5-8 years of UAE experience and have a comprehensive understanding of local regulations for approvals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Primavera applications, and have a working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Hold a valid UAE driving license.
Strong experience in executing fit-out projects, such as retail stores, offices, restaurants, etc.
Familiarity with electrical and MEP works.
Ability to prepare detailed daily site progress reports for management.
Effective communication skills in Hindi and English. Proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
Experience in retrofit/refurbishment projects.
Capability to build and develop strategic relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
Commercially astute and capable of accurately forecasting project requirements.
Able to work effectively within a team-based environment.
